Investing in Socio-Economic Impact, Sustainability, and Humanitarian Solutions

Connecting Capital with High-Impact Projects

At LightWorkers Advisory & Management (LWAM), we bridge private financial groups with humanitarian, government, and privately-owned projects, including Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). We work with projects at any stage of development, from Concept/Idea and Start-Up to Growth, Expansion, and Maturity.

Our mission is to facilitate funding for initiatives that drive localised socio-economic impact and transformational change, aligning them with the right investment sources.

We collaborate with a network of funding partners that are actively seeking SEI and humanitarian-focused projects, ensuring that their capital flows into high-impact initiatives that generate both financial success (ROI) and meaningful social progress (SEI).

Our role includes sourcing, pre-screening, and preparing investment-ready project materials to meet the funding criteria of our investment partners. By working closely with all stakeholders, we streamline the funding process, helping eligible projects secure the necessary capital and resources for long-term success and sustainable growth.

Our Approach - a Four Step Process

We take a strategic, structured approach to identifying high-impact investments, ensuring that projects focused on socio-economic progress, sustainability, climate solutions, and humanitarian efforts align with the funding criteria of our private-sector financial partners.

Through our four-step process, we connect transformative projects with the right investment opportunities, driving meaningful and measurable impact

01

Step 1: Initial Funding Review & Screening

We conduct a preliminary evaluation to assess the project's viability and alignment with our partners funding criteria.

  • Key factors considered include: project impact, location, budget, scalability, risk-profile, resilience and adaptation, contribution and impact, additionailty and alignment with key humanitarian objectives.
  • Feedback is provided on any necessary refinements to improve the project's funding potential.

02

Step 2: Preparation & Submission

  • Once a project passes the Initial Funding Review & Screening, we co-develop a comprehensive presentation package, ensuring it meets the submission criteria and the invesment mandate of our funders.

  • The possible funding options are dicussed and the project is then submitted to suitable funding sources for consideration.

03

Step 3: Funder Review & Engagement

  • Private funders assess the project, request additional information if needed, and determine its fit within their investment strategy.

  • This stage is highly discretionary and varies by funder, with some decisions made within 30 to 90 days, while others may take 6  months or longer.

04

Step 4: Final Decision & Funding Allocation

  • If a project receives approval, a formal funding offer or  'Term-Sheet' is extended to the project owner.

  • Upon acceptance, contracts are finalised, and funds are disbursed according to the agreed-upon terms.
